Actuator, RECIRCULATION Door: Description

The recirculation door actuator (1) is a reversible 12 volt Direct Current (DC) servo motor (3). The recirculation door actuator is located on the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) air inlet housing, behind the instrument panel.
The recirculation door actuator is contained within a black molded plastic housing with an integral wire connector receptacle (4). Three mounting tabs (1) allow the actuator to be secured to the housing and output shaft (2) with splines connects it to the recirculation air door.
The recirculation door actuator requires mechanical indexing to the recirculation air door.
