Sensor, Oil Temperature: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover and clean air hose.

  3. Unlock and disconnect the oil temperature sensor harness connector (2).
  4. The oil temperature sensor gasket (1) can be reused if not damaged.
