Rocker Arm, Valve: Installation

NOTE:

If the rocker arms are being reused, reassemble them into their original locations.

Lubricate the rocker arms with clean engine oil before installation.
Install the rocker arm(s).
- If the intake rockers were serviced, install the Variable Valve Actuator Assembly (VVAA). Refer to ASSEMBLY, VARIABLE VALVE ACTUATION, INSTALLATION .
- If the exhaust rockers were serviced, install the exhaust camshaft. Refer to INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
