2.2L Diesel EGT Sensor 1/3

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor 1/3 wire harness connector (1) and detach connector (4) from bracket.
  4. Detach the EGT sensor 1/3 wire from the retainer.

  5. Remove the EGT sensor 1/3 (1) from the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)/Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
