2.0L Diesel EGT Sensor 1/1

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover (1).

  3. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor 1/1 wire harness connector (1).

    NOTE:

    The heat shield is removed for clarity.

  4. Detach the EGT sensor 1/1 wire (1) from heat shield (2).
  5. Detach the EGT sensor 1/1 wire harness connector (3) from bracket (4).
  6. Remove the EGT sensor 1/1 (5).
