2.2L Diesel EGT Sensor 1/2

  1. Install the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor 1/2 (4) into the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)/Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) (5) and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the EGT wire into the retainer (3).
  3. Attach the EGT sensor 1/2 wire harness to the retainer (2).
  4. Connect the EGT sensor wire harness connector (1).
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate article. .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
