2.2L Diesel EGT Sensor 1/1

  1. Install the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor 1/1 (1) into the exhaust manifold (2) and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. Attach the EGT sensor 1/1 wire harness (3) to the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) inlet tube (2).

  3. Connect the EGT sensor wire harness connector (2).
  4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate article. .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
