Section 30 (Battery System (Service Information)): Battery: Installation

- Position the battery onto the battery tray.

- Install the battery thermal cover.
- Connect the battery positive cable (1). Tighten to 7 N.m (62 in. lbs.).
- Install the negative battery cable end (2) to the negative battery terminal.

- Tighten the captive clamp nut (1) to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
