Deploy Bracket, B-Pillar

  1. Remove the side curtain airbag (also known as Side AirBag Inflatable Curtain/SABIC) from the vehicle. Refer to AIR BAG, SIDE CURTAIN, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the three blind rivets (1) that secure the deploy bracket (3) near the top of the B-pillar (2).
  3. Slide the bracket upward far enough to disengage the tabs at the top of the bracket from the locator holes in the inner B-pillar and roof rail.
  4. Remove the deploy bracket from the vehicle and discard.
