Plug, Ring Gear Shaft: Installation

- Using the clean lint free cloth, wipe the circumference of the plug hole free of debris and oil.
- Place a NEW plug into the hole in the PTU.
- Using tool (special tool #6342, Installer, Seal), drive the new plug into the hole in the PTU until the lip of the plug is flush against the outer surface of the PTU.
- Install the PTU in the vehicle.
- Verify that the PTU fluid is at the specified level.
- Road test the vehicle to verify the repair.
