Solenoid Valves Removal

  1. Remove the valve body from the transmission. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL .
  2. Place the valve body on a clean work surface supported on each end by wooden blocks with the outer half facing upward.

  3. Remove the screws (1) holding the solenoid retaining plates to the outer valve body.

  4. Separate the small solenoid retaining plate (1) from the valve body.

  5. Separate the large solenoid retaining plate (1) from the valve body.

  6. Position the valve body so the inner valve body (1) is on top.
  7. Pull the solenoid valves (3) straight out of the outer valve body (2).

  8. Remove the parking lock valve (1) from the outer valve body (2).
