Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) Removal

The Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) can be replaced with the transmission in the vehicle.
- Remove the valve body. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL .
- Remove the screw (1) holding the TRS to the transmission housing.
- Gently pull on the TRS wire harness connector (1) to separate the TRS from the transmission.
- Release the lock on the wire harness connector (1).
- Separate the wire harness connector (1) from the TRS.
