Front Door

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Insert the (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) as shown in illustration and lift to partially release switch from the door panel.
- Insert the trim stick as shown in illustration and lift the switch from the door panel.
- Pull the switch module away from the mounting hole far enough to access and disconnect the door wire harness connector (1) from the switch connector receptacle.
- Remove the switch module from the vehicle.
