Section 22 (Body - Interior & Exterior): Interior: Visor: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Disengage the sun visor from the sun visor support.
- Open the sun visor base bracket cover (1). If necessary, use a small pick/pry tool to open the cover.
- Remove the fastener (2) that secures the sun visor bracket to the roof panel.
- Simultaneously pull the visor (2) down and forward to disengage the base bracket (1) hook feature.
- Position the visor (2) away from the headliner.
- If equipped, disconnect the illuminated vanity mirror wire harness connector.
- Remove the visor (2) from the vehicle.
