Panel, Quarter Trim: Removal: Notes

UPPER

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
Using a small flat bladed tool or equivalent, open the trim cap (1).
Remove the screw (2).

Separate the seat belt anchor (2). Refer to BUCKLE, SEAT BELT, REMOVAL .
Position the door seal aside.
Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the retaining fasteners (3) that secure the quarter trim panel to the quarter panel.
Pull the quarter trim panel away from the quarter panel.
If equipped, disconnect the power outlet wire harness connector (1).
Remove the quarter trim panel (1).
