Panel, B-Pillar Trim: Removal: Upper

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
Using a small flat bladed tool or equivalent, open the trim cap (1).
Remove the screw (2).

Release the front seat belt anchor. Refer to BUCKLE, SEAT BELT, REMOVAL .
Using (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick), pry the lower portion of the B-pillar trim (1) to disengage the retaining clips and route seat belt through B-pillar trim.
Remove the upper B-pillar trim (1).
