Latch, Hood: Removal

- Remove the push pins and remove the radiator closeout panel.
- If equipped, disconnect the hood ajar switch harness (1).
- Mark an outline of the hood latch on radiator support crossmember with a grease pencil or other suitable device to aid installation.
- Remove the fasteners (2) attaching the hood latch to the upper radiator support crossmember.
- Position the hood latch away from the from vehicle.
- Disconnect the release cable (1) from the latch.
- Remove the latch.
