Latch, Hood: Installation

- Connect the release cable (1) into the hood latch.
- Position the latch on radiator support crossmember and loosely install the fasteners (2).
- Using the reference marks made during removal, align the hood latch.
- Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- If equipped, connect the electrical connector (1).
- Close the hood to verify operation. Adjust as necessary.
- Install the radiator closeout panel (1) and install the push pin fasteners.
