Cable, Hood Release: Installation

- Route the hood release cable (1) through the hole located in the lower dash panel.
- Engage the rubber grommet into the lower dash panel.
- Route the hood latch cable (1) along the inner frame rail.
- Engage the hood release cable retaining clips/tabs along the inner frame rail.
- Route the hood latch cable under the headlamp, along the side of the front end module and across the upper radiator support towards the hood latch.
- Engage the cable (2) to the hood latch (3).
- Install the hood release handle (2) to the steering column opening cover/knee blocker trim (1) by aligning, pushing in to engage and then pushing upward on the handle.
- Install the radiator closeout panel (1) and install the push pin fasteners.
