Shield, Splash, Front Wheelhouse: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle, Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the wheel from the side of the vehicle being serviced. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove the two rivets (1) securing the splash shield to the front fascia.
- Remove the five push pins (3) from the rear area of the splash shield (2).
- Remove the push pin fasteners (2) from the front of the splash shield (1).
- Remove the fasteners (3) securing the splash shield (1) to the fascia.
- Release the outboard edge of the splash shield (1) from the fender flange.
- Remove the splash shield (1) from the vehicle.
