Striker, Door Latch: Removal

NOTE:
Right hand shown, left hand typical.
NOTE:
The front and rear door latch strikers are mounted and adjusted the exact same way.
- Using a china marker or equivalent, mark the outline of the door latch striker (1) on the C-pillar.
- Remove the bolts (2) attaching the door latch striker to C-pillar.
- Remove the door latch striker (1) from vehicle.
NOTE:
Be sure to check for any shims between door latch striker and C-pillar. If any shims are found, they must be reinstalled with the new door latch striker to maintain proper door operation.
