Door, Rear: Removal

NOTE:
Do not reuse the door half hinge to body side half hinge fasteners, replace with new readily available through Mopar parts.
NOTE:
Passenger side door shown, drivers side similar.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the rear door wiring harness connector from the body harness (3) located on the B-pillar.
- With the rear door open, remove the fastener (1) securing the door check strap.
- On the upper door hinge, remove the fastener (2) that secures the door half hinge to body side half hinge and discard.
- Repeat on the lower hinge.
- With the use of a suitable lifting device, remove the door from the vehicle.
