Bulb - Headlamp

CAUTION:
Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.
CAUTION:
Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.
- Position the headlamp bulb close enough to the back of the front lamp unit housing to access and connect the wire harness connector to the headlamp bulb connector receptacle (2).
- Insert the headlamp bulb into the reflector opening until firmly seated.
- Rotate the base clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.
- Position the headlamp bulb access cover onto the outboard back of the front lamp unit housing and rotate it clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.
- Install the air cleaner assembly (for passenger bulb installations). Refer to AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
