Lamp, Tail Stop Turn: Removal: Lamp: Outer

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Locate and remove the two bolts (1) that secures the rear tail lamp housing (2) to the body.
  4. Pull the lamp rearward far enough to disengage the two ball studs on the back of the lamp housing from the plastic grommets in the lamp opening of the body sheet metal.
  5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3).
  6. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.
