Lamp, License Plate: Removal: Lamp

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the two screws (2) that secure the license plate lamp (3) to the rear fascia (1).
- Slide the license plate lamp to one side of the fascia opening far enough to lower one end of the lamp through the opening, then lower the opposite end through the opening.
- Firmly grasp the bulb socket (1) on the top of the lamp housing (2) and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
- Pull the socket and bulb straight out of the lamp housing.
- Remove the lamp lens and housing from the vehicle.
