Lamp, License Plate: Installation: Lamp

- Position the license plate lamp lens and housing (2) close enough to the rear fascia mounting hole to align the socket (1) and bulb with the keyed opening on the top of the housing.
- Insert the socket and bulb into the housing until the socket is firmly seated.
- Rotate the socket clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.
- Insert one end of the license plate lamp (3) into one side of the rear fascia (1) mounting hole and slide it to that side far enough to insert the opposite end through the opening.
- Center the lamp in the opening.
- Install and tighten the two screws (2) that secure the lamp to the rear fascia. Tighten the screws securely.
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
