Automatic Dimming Inside Rear View Mirror System

The ElectroChromic Mirror Module (ECMM) of the automatic dimming inside rear view mirror system receives battery current on a fused ignition output (run) circuit from a fuse in the Power Distribution Center (PDC). The ECCM has a path to ground at all times through a take out and eyelet terminal of the body wire harness that is secured to the body sheet metal. These connections allow the automatic dimming inside rear view mirror system to operate. The Light Emitting Diode (LED) only illuminates when 9-1-1 or Assist buttons are pushed.
