Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC

Turn the ignition on.
With a scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display U0151-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC)?

Yes
- Refer to U0151-87-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC) - MISSING MESSAGE and perform the U0151-Lost Communication with Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTC diagnostic procedure.
