Diagnostic Test

STEERING WHEEL POSITION SENSOR-INTERNAL ELECTRONIC FAILURE
- Perform any Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) that may apply.
- The ABS Module is reporting internal errors from the SAS.NOTE:
Before continuing, check the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module harness connector terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Repair as necessary.
- Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the wire harness and connectors. Pay particular attention to all Power and Ground circuits.
- Perform any Technical Service Bulletins that may apply.
Were there any problems found?
Yes
- Repair as necessary.
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to GEAR, REMOVAL .
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
