Headrest, Rear Four Door: Removal

NOTE:

Do not open the headrest trim, the illustration is shown to aid in removal WITHOUT removing the headrest trim.

Release the seat back and fold forward far enough to release the headrest.
This illustration shows the location of the headrest locks (1). The J-strip (2) must be opened to see this, but not necessary to remove the headrest.
Pushing on the metal part (1), the lock will release the headrest.

Push at the locations (2) to release the headrest locks, then pull out on the headrest (1) to remove.
If equipped with a different type of headrest, perform the following steps.

Using a small flat bladed tool or equivalent, release the headrest by pressing the tool into the slots (1) on the trim caps.

Remove the headrest (1) from the headrest bracket and hinge (2).
