Repair Procedure For Door Fit And Primary Seal

This repair procedure is applicable when water is evident on the:

• Door trim panel
• Instrument panel / A-pillar

1. Measure the door gaps.

   The specifications are as follows:

   • The door to a-pillar is gap (1) is 5.0 +/- 1.5 mm
   • The door to freedom panel drip rail gap (2) is 5.0 +/- 3.0 mm
   • The flush specification is 0.0 +/- 1.5 mm

   If the door fit is not to specification, proceed to Step 2. If door is within specs proceed to step 3. 

   NOTE:

   When adjusting the door the seal must always be replaced

2. Adjust the door gap and flushness as described. Refer to DOOR, ADJUSTMENTS .

   Door seal (1) part #55395274/5AV.

3. If the doors are adjusted, the door seal (1) must be replaced.
