Repair Procedure For B-Pillar MUCKET And Foam

This repair procedure is applicable when water is evident on the: 

• B-pillar trim or seat

NOTE:

This repair applies to 4 door hard top or soft top models

1. Inspect the mucket-
   1. Inspect the mucket for a rolled under condition (1).
   2. Inspect the mucket for a missing drain hole (2).

2. Replace the mucket-
   1. If either of these conditions exist, replace the mucket (part #55395708/9AE).
   2. Reinstall the panel or side rail making sure not to distort the mucket (1).

   The mucket (1) is installed correctly

3. Inspect Freedom Panel for damaged or missing foam;
   1. If the foam is damaged, replace the foam using the foam kit (part #68026937AB).
   2. If the foam is missing, replace the foam using the foam kit (part #68026937AB).

   NOTE:

   The foam (1) is in addition to the foam that is already on the panel.

4. Add additional foam to the freedom panel-
   1. Add a piece of foam (1) to the freedom panel as shown.
   2. This foam can be created by cutting the 30 x 75mm GREY foam in half, from the foam kit (part #68026937AB).
