Hinge, Hood: Removal
- Remove the cowl top panel (3). Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL .NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the hood to replace the hood hinges. Hood hinges can be replaced one at a time.
- Support the hood with a suitable device.
- Remove the hinge to body bolts (2).
- Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark location of hood hinges (1) on hood (3) to aid installation.
- Remove the hinge to hood bolts (2) and remove the hinge (1).
