Cylinder, Armrest Lock: Removal

Lift the armrest (1).
Using a trim stick, remove the cover panel (2).

Using an appropriate screw driver (2), remove the two screws (1) that fasten the latch assembly.

Grasp the latch assembly (1) and pull upward and off the armrest.

Install the key into the lock and turn clockwise until it stops.
Using a small flat bladed tool (1), press the metal tab at the base of the lock cylinder (2), then rotate the key clockwise, again, until it stops.

Pull on the key (3) to remove the lock cylinder (2) from the latch (1).
