Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, create a Vehicle Scan Report and attach it to the repair order.
- With the scan tool, read the RRM DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK THE CIRCUIT FROM THE RRM TO THE DAB ANTENNA FOR A SHORT
- Check the circuit between the Radio Receiver Module and the DAB Antenna at the RRM connector for a short.
Is the circuit shorted?
Yes
- Repair the circuit for a short.
No
- Carefully check the connectors at the Radio Receiver Module and DAB antenna for damage and repair as needed.
- Check the circuit between the Radio Receiver Module and the DAB Antenna at the RRM connector for a short.
