When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

The TCM control unit is in power-on state.
Engine is not in cranking mode
The system is not in engaged gear identification mode (the mode in which the TCM identifies the engaged gear at every power on).
Power supply must be between 7 - 24 volts.
Gear Shift Position Sensors (1st-3rd, 2nd-4th, 5th-RV, 6th) has not failed.
