Set Condition

- Malfunction Criteria for Odd Gears:
- 1st Gear Recognized:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 1st gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than an Odd gear (1st, 3rd, 5th, or R) is engaged or pre-selected.
- 3rd Gear Recognized:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 3rd gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than an Odd gear (1st, 3rd, 5th, or R) is engaged or pre-selected.
- 5th Gear Recognized:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 5th gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than an Odd gear (1st, 3rd, 5th, or R) is engaged or pre-selected.
- 1st Gear Recognized:
- Malfunction Criteria for Even Gears
- 2nd Gear Recognized:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 2nd gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than an Even gear (2nd, 4th, or 6th) is engaged or pre-selected.
- 4th Gear Recognized:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 4th gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than an Even gear (2nd, 4th, or 6th) is engaged or pre-selected.
- 6th Gear Recognized:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 6th gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than an Even gear (2nd, 4th, or 6th) is engaged or pre-selected.
- 2nd Gear Recognized:
- Malfunction Criteria for 1st or Reverse Gear:
- The Transmission ratio indicates 1st or Reverse gear is engaged when the Gear Position Sensors indicate a gear other than 1st or Reverse is engaged or preselected.
