U1960-83-Message Engine1 Plausibility Error-Value Of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect

This DTC indicates that the ECM/PCM module is not sending the required information over the CAN bus. Therefore, the ECM/PCM module is considered to be the "offending module". The "offending module" will be referred to in the COMMUNICATION PRE-DIAGNOSTIC procedure.
