Secondary Release Cable

NOTE:

Take note of the cable routing for correct installation.

Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the hood latch to aid in installation.
Loosen the mounting studs (2) and slide the latch assembly (4) down and release from the mounting bracket (3).
Disconnect the cable (1).

Disconnect the cable (1) at the release lever and remove the cable.
