Diagnostic Test

AUTOMATIC SWAY-BAR SYSTEM (ASBS) INTERNAL FAILURE DTC PRESENT 

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Cycle the ignition switch.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

   Does the scan tool display ASBS INTERNAL FAILURE?

   Yes 

   • Replace the Automatic Sway-Bar System (ASBS) in accordance with the Service Information.
   • Perform the ASBS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

   No 

   • Perform the ASBS INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
