Drag Link (Knuckle Side)

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the right front tire.

  3. Remove the right side drag link nut at the knuckle.

  4. Separate the drag link using special tool (special tool #9360, Remover, Ball Joint) separator (2).

  5. Remove the tie rod nut at the knuckle.

  6. Separate the tie rod using special tool (special tool #9360, Remover, Ball Joint) separator (2).

    NOTE:

    Count the number of turns when removing the tie rod end, This will give a good starting point when reassembling and toe adjustment.

  7. Loosen the nut and bolt (1) for the drag link adjustment sleeve.
  8. Unthread the drag link socket from the adjuster.
