Front Output Shaft And Drive Chain

1 - FRONT CASE HALF

2 - FRONT OUTPUT SHAFT

Install front output shaft (2) into the font output shaft bearing.

1 - UNIVERSAL HANDLE C-4171

2 - SEAL INSTALLER 9041
Install the front output shaft snap-ring onto the front output shaft.

Install new front output seal in front case with Seal Installer (special tool #9041, Installer, Seal) (2) and Universal Handle (special tool #C-4171, Driver Handle, Universal) (1).

1 - MAINSHAFT

2 - DRIVE CHAIN

3 - DRIVE SPROCKET

Insert front sprocket (3) in drive chain (2).
Install drive chain around mainshaft drive sprocket. Then position front sprocket over front output shaft.

Install the mainshaft (1) into the range hub and mode sleeve and seat the front drive sprocket onto the front output shaft.

3 - SNAP-RING

Install the front drive sprocket retaining ring (3).

1 - CUPS (2)

2 - SPRING
Install spring (2) and cups (1) on shift rail.

Insert magnet (1) in front case pocket (2).
