Belt, Serpentine: Removal: 2.8L

CAUTION:
Do not let the tensioner arm snap back to the freearm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove bolts (2) and the engine lifting bracket (1).
- Using a suitable tool, rotate accessory drive belt tensioner (1) until holes on arm and base are aligned.
- Insert pin (2) into hole to lock tensioner in place.
- Remove the serpentine belt.
