Diagnostic Test

CHECK THE DVD
1. Replace the problem DVD with a DVD formatted for the proper region.
2. Turn the Radio/DVD player on.
3. With the scan tool, read the Telematics Gateway (TGW) DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display active: B1424-00-IMPROPER DVD - WRONG REGION?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Test Complete.
CHECK THE TELEMATICS GATEWAY (TGW)
1. With the scan tool, verify the TGW is programmed for the proper region.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display active: B1424-00-IMPROPER DVD - WRONG REGION?
  
  Yes
  - Eject the inoperative DVD and replace the TGW in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, TELEMATICS GATEWAY, REMOVAL .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  No
  - Test Complete.
