Switch, Washer Fluid Level: Installation: Installation

- Install a new rubber grommet seal into the washer fluid level switch mounting hole of the washer reservoir. Always use a new rubber grommet seal on the reservoir.
- Insert the nipple formation of the switch through the rubber grommet seal in the reservoir.
- Using hand pressure, press firmly and evenly on the switch mounting flange until the barbed nipple is fully seated in the rubber grommet seal in the reservoir. The flat edge of the switch mounting flange should be oriented upward.
- Reconnect the Front End Module (FEM) wire harness connector (3) to the switch connector receptacle.
- Reinstall the washer reservoir onto the back of the cooling module on the FEM. Refer to RESERVOIR, WINDSHIELD WASHER, INSTALLATION .
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
