The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the Knock Sensor input voltage is: Above 4.0 volts, less than or equal to 1.0 volts with engine RPM at or above 2200 or equal to 0.0 volts with engine RPM below 2200. Two Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.
