Diagnostic Test

  1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Cycle the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
    3. Operate the Driver Window up and down several times using the Express Up feature.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

      Does the scan tool display; B224F-54-DOOR MODULE INTERNAL - MISSING CALIBRATION?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

      • The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. If the Express Up feature is operating properly, test complete. If the Express Up feature is not operating properly, continue to step 2. Refer to  2.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. WINDOW MODULE NOT CALIBRATED 
    1. Run the window to the full up position and continue to hold the switch for an additional two seconds.
    2. Run the window to the full down position and continue to hold the switch for an additional two seconds.
    3. Again run the window to the full up position and continue to hold the switch for an additional two seconds.
    4. Lower the window to the full down position then press and release the switch to the express up position.

      Did the window move to the full up position?

      Yes 

      • Test complete.

      No 

      • Go To  3
  3. EXPRESS WINDOW SWITCH 
    1. Cycle the ignition off.
    2. Move the Driver Express Switch from the idle position to the up position and then to the express up position.

      Is there two definite detent positions felt?

      Yes 

      No
