Theory Of Operation

The Body Control Module (BCM) receives the input from the headlamp switch requesting fog lamp illumination. The BCM provides a pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage output through the fog lamp driver circuit, which connects to the Fog Lamp. A ground path for the lamps is present through the harness to the body sheet metal. For additional information on the Fog Lamp operation, refer to OPERATION .
