Lamp, Courtesy, Liftgate: Installation: Lamp

- Position the liftgate courtesy lamp to the opening in the lower liftgate trim panel.
- Reconnect the liftgate wire harness connector (1) to the connector receptacle integral to the end of the lamp housing.
- Insert the connector end of the lamp housing into the opening in the lower liftgate trim panel.
- Align the end of the lamp housing opposite the connector end to the trim panel opening.
- Using hand pressure, push the lamp housing firmly and evenly into the trim panel opening until the integral mounting tabs snap into place behind the panel.
- Align the lamp lens (1) with the lamp housing, then use firm and even hand pressure to snap the lens onto the housing.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
