Section 45 (Horn System (Service Information)): Horn: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
- Remove the plastic push pin fasteners that secure the top of the radiator grille of the front fascia to the upper radiator cross member of the Front End Module (FEM). Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
- Pull the top of the radiator grille of the front fascia away from the upper radiator cross member far enough to access and disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (3) from the connector for the horns (2).
- Pull the top of the radiator grille of the front fascia away from the upper radiator cross member far enough to access and remove the screw (1) that secures the horn mounting bracket to the forward facing surface of the upper radiator cross member.
- Remove the horns and mounting bracket from the vehicle as a unit.
